Don't buy Innjoo devices, and here is why
Innjoo is an Internet company located in Dubai as they state in their official website.
Their products are: mobile phones, notebooks/tablets, TVs, Power banks and other accessories, that are being sold online via Jumia and Souq in different countries like UAE, KSA, Egypt, Nigeria and Kenya.
It is well known for its budget devices which offer fair specifications with low prices, and that's what make people consider buying their devices, they get deceived and they fell in the trap.
And I'm one of the victims!!!
Although I wanted to write a good review and recommend the device I bought 1 month ago, I'm now writing this article to warn people about Innjoo products.

Innjoo leapbook A100
Innjoo leapbook A100 is a Windows Notebook that comes with Official Version of Windows 10 and a trail version of office 365.
The hardware specifications are: 14 inches HD display, Quad Core processor 1.4 Ghz, 2 GB of ram, Intel 500 HD GPU, 32 GB Internal emmc memory which has the same speed of a SSD harddisk, and a 10000 mAh battery that should work 10 hours and 40 min.
The device design is very pretty, comes in silver and gold colors, it is very slim and looks like a Macbook.
For the performance, I will be a liar if I said I wasn't impressed, it feels so smooth and fast, I loved using windows 10 on it.
And that's all good, many will consider buying the device for these pros, but actually the pros aren't enough if the cons are much bigger.
1- Although the device looks so good, but it is made from a very weak plastic, and it's polish looks pale unlike how it appears in their picture also its color will be erased by time no matter how much you are careful with it, but you may condones this considering it has a low price.
2- And Innjoo always surprise you regarding the price; I bought my device from a promo in 2300 EGP (129 USD) instead of 3000 EGP (168 USD), and in less than a month they updated the product device to be 1777 EGP (99 USD), and that's frustrated me, not because they lowered the price, but because the actual value of the device became less, and if you wanted to sell it as a second hand device you will loss a lot.
In the other hand, lowering the price until it reaches almost half of the original value indicates that there is something wrong, in my opinion they are trying to get rid of many devices as fast as possible by applying the "Price trap".
3- The third of its cons is the screen, there is a space between the plastic and the screen, it is not tight and as a consequence you will get dust trapped in there, very difficult to clean it out, and that's not all of it, the screen is of a bad quality not regarding the colors or the display, in fact it is bright and very good for watching movies, however there are dead or stuck pixels in the screen, when I looked closer I found a red color dead pixel in the right corner of the screen which refuses to come back to life, no matter what solutions I try.. it is completely dead, I just hope no more will appear in my screen in the future.
4- The major issue of Innjoo products is the battery, and this the most noticeable con that we should focus on, and the most repeatable issue that people complain about.
My leapbook supposed to have 10000 mAh battery that works for 10 hours normal usage, and 6 hours playing videos, at first when I used the device it worked for 10 hours and I was very pleased, it was incredible, with that I could use it out side home for a whole day without worrying about charging, I could use it more than my smart phone.
But soon, and in less than 20 days, probably 17 or 18 days of usage, the device suddenly shut down itself without a previous warning, I had to observe and record the time of usage, I found that the battery worked 6/7 hours, and I said that's okay, and might be normal after 17 charging cycle for that budget device, and then after 30 days the battery only worked for 4 hours, couple of days later and the battery worked only for 1 hour! and now while I'm writing this article it is working for less than 1 hours, 40 min. maximum, can you imagine that? (Update: it stopped working at all).
I investigated what is happening, and by running specific commands in windows command prompt I found out that the battery capacity became 40% of the actual or real capacity, also I noticed that the battery production date is in 2014, a battery made in 2014 is inserted inside a device made in 2017.. cool :)
Here is a picture showing the battery informations:

I continued investigations and found many people on the Internet, complaining about the battery in Innjoo products, specially smart phones, and it was not just the battery, some people said that their smart phones exploded and other had their screen burned, and that's not the worst part.
It appears that there is an agreement between Innjoo and Souq and to sell their devices and take care of the repair service too in all the countries, here is a screen shoot from their official website:

But when I contacted Souq they refused to take responsibility, and they asked me to go to the repair service center by myself, well.. that's okay, I can go by myslef, this isn't a big problem, but the real problem is that the repair center in 90% of cases won't help you as it is reported by people, they always do not have the parts and they can't repair the devices.
I contacted Innjoo company several times via email and they didn't reply, also I tried to contact them on their facebook page, they read my message and ignored it, it is an unprofessional way to deal with the customers.
So, because I wrote bad review trying to warn people of the Innjoo products on Souq and they didn't publish my review, here I am on my personal blog I wrote this review warning all people about buying Innjoo products.
Have a nice day!
